Regulations and Legislation 
With changes in the building regulations now including Part P, which concerns domestic electrical installation and maintenance, which came into effect in England and Wales on 1st January 2006, it is now a legal requirement for all domestic electrical work to comply with the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, BS 7671:2008. You will need to demonstrate that any electrical work you have undertaken in your property complies with this when selling your property. At ‘Andy James Electrical’ we ensure that all our work carried out by our certified domestic electricians complies with the latest legislation and standards and if you are not sure if your existing wiring complies we are happy to advise you of this.
